The Exact Street technology enables the production of a smoother surface of a repaired road. It has significant improvements in longitudinal ride and cross-fall, water drainage profile, uniform depth of the asphalt paved (thereby reducing the paved asphalt depth deviations) and road safety. This technology also reduces negative environmental impact by reducing CO2 emissions and shortens the necessary road closure during repairs. These can be demonstrated with an improved International Roughness Index (IRI). Exact Street also enables material savings. It typically allows for less material to be milled and hauled away resulting in reduced quantity of asphalt material used in paving (cost savings on the underlays of roadway substrates).
